How it works: What happens after you book your event

We are so happy you chose to host your upcoming event at The Ivory Room! We are a blank canvas, bright and neutral studio space, approximately 1100 square feet, with the ability to transform into any theme or colour scheme you can dream up! 

We recommend securing your date as soon as possible, as our weekend time slots book up quickly! 

Once you have chosen your date and time slot, we require a $500 deposit to secure your spot.

We are a private venue, so you will be the only party during the time you selected. If you have chosen the full day time slot, you will be the only party that day, and therefore your timing is flexible, and there is no rush to come and go. 

Once you have secured your date and time, you can choose which package you would like! We have a variety of options, from our basic room rental with just table and chairs, to a fully decorated birthday or shower, complete with a backdrop, table runners, faux florals and more! 

We will send you our inventory catalogue which outlines all of the decor options we have to choose from. We will also provide you a link to a form with all of the options included in your package, so you can envision all of your selections with the help of the inventory catalogue! 

From there, you are welcome to come for an in-studio decor consultation where we can go over your decor pics, show you any of the floral or table runner colours in person, as well as talk about floor plan! If you don’t wish to come in, or you have already seen the space- you are more than  welcome to confirm all your choices via phone call or email! 

On the day of your event - the studio will be clean and all of the decor you selected through us will be setup and ready for you to arrive!

You can arrive at the beginning of your time slot with your personal decor & food knowing the majority of the work has been done for you!

*Please note - We don’t provide food, drink or tableware, so all of those items will need to be brought in. We don’t have a full kitchen, so we recommend all food Is brought in or catered already prepared. We have a small prep area with microwave and fridge.

At the end of your time slot, we just ask that all of your garbage has been thrown away in the garbages and recycling bins we provide, and that you take your own personal items with you!

No deep cleaning needs to be done, but we just ask the space is left in a respectful manner. We hope that you have a great experience with us, and continue to celebrate your upcoming milestones at The Ivory Room!
